About us
Before having been appointed to the position of Justice of Constitutional Court, he was working as Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Lithuania during 1992-1993, and as the Judge of the Supreme Court of Lithuania during 1989-1992.
ŠEDBARAS law partnershipwas established in 1996 in Vilnius as Šedbaras law firm. The founder of the firm is Dr. Stasys Šedbaras, a lawyer who has finished his term as a Justice in the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Lithuania.
In June 1997 the activity of the firm was terminated because Dr. Stasys Šedbaras was appointed to the position of the State Consultant of the Prime Minister of issues on State and Human Rights.
In May 1998 Dr. Stasys Šedbaras was appointed to the position of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania, and in July 1999 – the Chairman of the Higher Administrative Court.
Once the reorganization of administrative courts initiated by Dr. Stasys Šedbaras himself was performed, the activity of the Firm was restarted on 19 April 2001.
In November 2008 Dr. Stasys Šedbaras was elected as a member of the Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania and from then on his law firm is conducted by his son Tomas Šedbaras.
In 2014 Law firm was reorganized to ŠEDBARAS law partnership.
Acquired professional experience has allowed Dr. Stasys Šedbaras to find appropriate activity methods and assure the quality of activity in providing legal services for Lithuanian and foreign legal and natural entities.
